Terms of Service
Last updated: May 17, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Arythmatic Connect (“the service”), the multi-tenant community platform operated by Modern Identity Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a workspace, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organisation (e.g. as the workspace admin during sign-up), you represent that you’re authorised to bind that organisation, and references to “you” mean both you and the organisation.
2. Eligibility
The service is offered worldwide. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the service on your own behalf. Where applicable local law permits use by minors at or above a lower minimum age (for example, thirteen (13) under COPPA in the United States, or sixteen (16) under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), a minor may use the service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, and the workspace admin is responsible for obtaining that consent before inviting the minor.
If you’re using the service in a country, region, or industry where additional consent or licensing is required, you must obtain it before signing up.
3. Accounts
You sign in via Auth0 — we don’t store your password. Keep your credentials confidential and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account, including any actions taken inside workspaces you join.
Email verification is part of self-serve workspace registration; we may suspend or delete an unverified pending workspace if it sits unverified for an extended period.
4. Workspaces and admin responsibilities
The service is multi-tenant. The person who registers a workspace becomes its administrator (“Workspace Admin”) and is responsible for:
- The lawful basis to invite each member, including obtaining member consent where required by local law.
- Configuring channels, spaces, and roles in a way that matches the workspace’s privacy commitments to its members.
- Moderating content, removing prohibited material, and responding to member complaints.
- Acting as the data controller for the workspace’s member data; we act as a data processor on behalf of the workspace admin.
We may suspend a workspace that materially or repeatedly violates these Terms, after reasonable notice except where immediate action is necessary to protect members or third parties.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Post unlawful, infringing, harassing, or hateful content.
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or circumvent another user’s block / mute.
- Distribute malware, phishing material, or content designed to compromise other users’ accounts.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or circumvent its security mechanisms — except via a coordinated disclosure channel we publish.
- Scrape, mass-export, or rate-abuse the service’s APIs in excess of the published rate limits.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk communications.
- Use the service’s AI features (where available) to generate content that violates these Terms or third-party rights.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules. Workspace admins may set additional, stricter rules within their workspace; those bind workspace members alongside these Terms.
6. Child safety standards (CSAE)
Arythmatic Connect maintains a zero-tolerance stance on child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE). Producing, possessing, distributing, soliciting, grooming for, or otherwise enabling CSAM or CSAE through the service is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, preservation and disclosure of relevant records to law enforcement, and reporting to the competent authority in the relevant jurisdiction — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) in the United Kingdom, and Europe’s INHOPE-network hotlines.
Our full Child Safety Standards — including prohibited content categories, the reporting workflow, our cooperation with hotlines and law enforcement, and the designated child-safety contact — are published at /child-safety. The summary below is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
How to report
If you encounter CSAM or suspected CSAE on the service, report it immediately to support@arythmatic.cloud with the subject line beginning “CSAE Report”. Include the workspace name, the URL or identifier of the content, and the date and time you observed it. Do not forward, screenshot, or otherwise reproduce the offending content — link or reference it.
In a life-threatening emergency, contact local emergency services first.
How we respond
Reports are reviewed by a trained child-safety reviewer. Confirmed CSAM is removed without delay, the responsible account is terminated, and the matter is reported to the competent authority where the matter arises — including NCMEC, India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, the IWF, and INHOPE-network hotlines as applicable. We preserve relevant records as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (where the matter falls under United States jurisdiction), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (where the matter falls under Indian jurisdiction), and equivalent statutes elsewhere, and we cooperate with law-enforcement requests served in accordance with applicable law.
Workspace admins are responsible for taking down prohibited content within their workspaces and for cooperating with our investigations. Failure to do so is grounds for workspace-level suspension.
Designated point of contact
Our designated point of contact for child-safety matters, including law-enforcement inquiries and reports under applicable child-safety statutes, is reachable at support@arythmatic.cloud.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post (messages, files, posts, comments). By posting it on the service, you grant us a limited licence to host, transmit, transcode, back up, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you and the members of your workspace. The licence ends when you delete the content or the workspace it was posted in is deleted, subject to standard backup-retention windows.
We do not use the contents of your messages to train AI models without an explicit, workspace-level opt-in.
8. Third-party integrations
The service supports optional integrations with Google Drive, YouTube, Microsoft OneDrive, and other providers. When you connect one, you authorise us to exchange tokens with that provider on your behalf and fetch the resources you reference. Your use of those providers is also governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for outages, data losses, or policy changes on the third-party side.
9. Subscriptions, billing, and free tier
Arythmatic Connect offers Free, Starter, Growth, Professional, and Custom subscription tiers. Feature availability and usage limits for each tier are published on our pricing page and inside the workspace admin console; we may adjust the published limits with reasonable notice.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual cycle (your choice at sign-up). Fees are charged in advance in the currency indicated at checkout — typically Indian Rupees (INR) for India-based customers and US Dollars (USD) for international customers — and are exclusive of taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax, or equivalent) which are added where required by law. Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time on a downgrade.
Free-tier workspaces remain free for as long as you stay within the free-tier limits. We may suspend or restrict features on a free-tier workspace that exceeds those limits after reasonable notice. Custom-tier pricing, billing cadence, and refund terms are set out in a separate signed order form, which prevails over this section for that customer.
If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, contact support@arythmatic.cloud within thirty (30) days of the charge.
10. Termination
You can stop using the service or delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment (where applicable), or extended inactivity, after reasonable notice except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or its users.
On workspace or account deletion, your content is removed from production systems within 30 days, and the corresponding rows roll off rotating backups within 35 days. Deletion is irreversible — export anything you want to keep before confirming.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data won’t be lost in an outage. You’re responsible for your own backups of content you can’t afford to lose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under these Terms is capped at the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US $100.00) for free-tier accounts.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims by third parties arising out of (a) your content, (b) your workspace’s administration of its members’ data, or (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction located at the registered office of Modern Identity Private Limited in India for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, except where a non-waivable consumer-protection statute requires otherwise. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to workspace admins by email and posted at the top of this page at least 30 days before they take effect, except where a change is required by law or to address an active security risk. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
